Learning takes on a whole new meaning when it moves beyond the four walls of a classroom. With this spirit, S. D. Jain Modern School, Surat organised an enriching and memorable educational excursion for the students of Std. XII from 28 September to 2 October 2026, combining education, adventure, recreation and valuable life experiences.

The journey began on the evening of 28 September, as the students departed from school for Monteria Resort, Khopoli, by AC buses. The excitement among the students was palpable as they embarked on a much-awaited journey with their friends and teachers.

The group reached Monteria Resort on 29 September, where the students checked in and settled into their rooms. After breakfast and lunch, the students enjoyed a range of adventure and recreational activities at the resort. The day provided them with opportunities to unwind, bond with their classmates and create wonderful memories away from their routine academic environment.

On 30 September, after lunch, the students proceeded for a Nature walk . The visit provided them with valuable exposure to Lush Green Trekk leading a mesmerizing view of Waterfall.

The highlight of the excursion was 1 October, when the students spent an action-packed day at Adlabs Imagica. The world-class theme park offered an exciting mix of thrilling rides, entertainment and spectacular shows. The day was filled with laughter, excitement and unforgettable moments shared with friends and teachers.

The excursion beautifully balanced learning, adventure, recreation and camaraderie. It gave students a chance to become more independent, strengthen friendships, appreciate teamwork and experience learning in a completely different environment.

A journey that began with excitement ended with memories that will stay forever — because some lessons are best learnt not from books, but from the journey itself.
