Cyber Crime & Security Awareness Initiatives

Cyber Crime & Security Awareness Initiatives
(June–July 2026)

In compliance with CBSE Circular No. Acad-39/2026 and the nationwide initiative of the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C), S. D. Jain Modern School organized a comprehensive series of cyber security awareness programs from June 19 to July 6, 2026.

This institution-wide campaign was executed under the visionary guidance of the School Management, spearheaded by Principal Mr. Chetan Dalwala, Head Master Mr. Kiran Kataria, Headmistress Ms. Anita Singh, Headmistress Ms. Deepshikha Bhattacharjee and Headmistress Ms. Neelima Pal. Spanning across all levels—from the Primary Wing to Senior Secondary classes—these unified initiatives aimed to foster digital safety, promote responsible online behavior, and equip students with the necessary knowledge to navigate the digital world securely.

Primary Wing (Std. I to IV)

Date: 19 to 23 June, 2026

To instill foundational cyber hygiene in young learners, the Primary Wing executed a multifaceted campaign:

  • Cyber Safety Pledge: Students took a solemn pledge affirming their commitment to responsible internet usage, safeguarding personal details, and promptly reporting suspicious online activities to trusted adults.
  • Cybercrime Awareness Board: A dedicated educational board was installed in the Primary Wing corridor to serve as a constant visual reminder of safe digital practices.
  • Poster Making Activity: Class IV students enthusiastically participated by creatively depicting essential messages regarding phishing scams, digital frauds, and safe internet habits.

Middle Wing (Std. V to VIII)

Date: July 6, 2026 (Monday)

To bring awareness culminated in an interactive educational seminar and assembly designed to address real-world digital vulnerabilities.

  • Expert Seminar: School Counselors Ms. Jhanvi Dalia and Mr. Aditya Ukani led an informative session sharing valuable insights into the latest cyber threats, online frauds, and preventative strategies. They engaged the audience through an interactive Q&A session discussing real-life digital scenarios.
  • Dramatization (Skit): A highlight of the assembly was a special skit performed by the students. The performance creatively illustrated how cybercriminals manipulate unsuspecting individuals through online scams, effectively reinforcing the critical need to verify information before sharing personal or financial data.

Secondary & Senior Secondary Wing (Std. IX to XII)

Date: June 23, 2026

To merge creative expression with social responsibility, the school organized targeted poster-making competitions focusing on critical digital threats such as cyberbullying, phishing, identity theft, online scams, password security, fake links, and OTP protection.

  • A competitive event witnessed enthusiastic participation, challenging students to utilize vibrant illustrations and impactful slogans to champion the theme of “Think Before You Click” and reflect a sound understanding of cybersecurity.
  • A poster making competition named “Cyber Canvas” with the theme “Cyber Crime Awareness” took place. The event was judged by Mrs. Bhavika Shah, Mr. Jaimin Pancholi, and Mr. Hemant More. The panel highly commended the participants’ originality, technical understanding of cybersecurity issues, and artistic execution during this creative forum.
