Neeva-Khel Mahakumbh Taekwondo Championship
South Gujarat Zonal Level Kalamahakumbh School Band Competition was organised with great pomp and show at Ascent School, Ankleshwar on 16th February 2023. Teams from all the 9 Districts participated out of which S D Jain Modern School from Surat bagged the first position. The team comprised of 21 students. Each student is offered ₹3000/- as prize money and a certificate to encourage them by the Gujarat Government. S.D.Jain Modern School Band is selected to represent South Zone in State Level Competition. For achieving this astonishing success, chairman of the school Shri Kailash Ji Jain and Principal Mr Chetan Dalwala congratulated all participants for adding one more feather in the legacy of school.
S. D. Jain Modern School proudly celebrates the remarkable achievement of Pragnika Vaka, who became the U-7 Girls’ World Champion at the 2025 FIDE World School Chess Championship in Serbia. With an unbeatable 9/9 score, she was the only Indian across all age groups to bring home a gold medal, showcasing her exceptional talent and determination.
Starting her chess journey in August 2023, Pragnika’s rapid rise to the world stage reflects her dedication, focus, and fearless approach to the game. The school management, principal, and faculty applaud her outstanding success, calling her an inspiration for young minds and a true symbol of excellence for India.
Saanvi Kamlesh Patel of S.D. Jain Modern School participated in the World Performing Arts Championship Season-4, held online in February 2025. Representing the school in the Kathak (Solo/Minor) dance category, she secured the prestigious 1st Award. The event was presented by Akhil Natrajam Aantar Sanskrutik Sangh, Nagpur, under the aegis of the International Dance Council CID, Paris, France.
The School Management, Principal and Headmistress commended the participants and appreciated their spirited efforts, hard work and dedication in bringing laurels to the school.
Aayushi Gaudani of Std. IX – B of the school was one of the competitors who represented India, represented India at the International Taekwondo Championship held in South Korea from July 20th to 30th 2015. She was accompanied by her coach Ms. Foram Desai. It was a proud moment for the school when Aayushi won a gold medal out of 800 students from different part of the world who participated. She has been winning the gold medals for the last three years from the various state and National competitions in Taekwondo.

Khushi Chindaliya, an 18-year-old graduate of S.D. Jain Modern School, Surat, has been passionate about protecting the environment since childhood. Witnessing greenery around her home vanish into concrete inspired her to act, leading her to co-organize Surat’s first TEDx Youth event on climate change awareness.
In recognition of her efforts, the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) Tunza Eco-generation appointed her as the Regional Ambassador for India in August 2020, honoring her as a young voice for sustainability and environmental action.
Neeva Sunny Chevli of Std 3-B brought glory to S.D. Jain Modern School Primary Wing by winning a gold medal in the Taekwondo Kyorugi State Championship under the 20 kg weight category. The event was held on 27th April, 2025. Neeva was awarded a cash prize of ₹10,000 at the state level and ₹5,000 at the district level for her outstanding performance.
