Annual Day Function of S. D. Jain Modern School.

The Annual Function 2015 of SDJain School was celebrated with great pomp and show at SDJ Sports Academy, Vesu on the 7th November . The  programme started on a stage not seen by the Surat audience before 80 ft by 40 ft. in a splendid ambience created by bright inviting lights and music in lush orchestral arrangements intend to provide a relaxing , soothing and lively atmosphere .  The mood of the audience of around 10000 spurred on with the arrival of the Chief Guest, Dr. Rajendra Kumar IAS , Collector & District Magistrate and CEO of SUDA. The Chairman, the Managing Trustee and the Director of the school flanked the chief guest onto the stage.

The function started with the lighting of the lamp by the honourable Chief Guest and the Chairman. After seeking blessings from Lord Ganesh, the cultural programme followed. The events like Charlie Chaplin, Salsa, Hip-hop and Grand Finale captivated the audience who could not stop applauding. The central attraction was portrayal of humour, cultural confluence and ecological balance in popular dance form. Later the prizes and awards were distributed to Felicitate the achievers by the chief guest and the chairman . The school management  distributed cash prize and scholarship  of more than 5 lakhs to motivate students to set new benchmarks for themselves, and to spur on their peers to aim for similar heights.

The Chief Guest had all appreciation for their attainment of excellence in academic and co-curricular spheres of the school through theirdedicated efforts and perseverance. He asserted that other schools should take a message from SD Jain Modern School and try to achieve high standards by emulating their greatness.
