Achieving such results is in no way a mean feat. It only proves one thing, nothing is impossible if one is prepared to put in hard work with dedication, and that’s what exactly the teachers and students do at school to achieve such results and will continue to do so in the future. Congratulations to all involved continue to strive to do better.

I am certain that with the kind of infrastructure at school mingled with dedicated teachers and sincere and hard working students the standard and goals for both school and students will have to be raised every year to maintain its place as one of the leading educational institutes in Gujarat Region.

Computer literate and IT are the latest buzz words. As we are well aware that computers education is the need of the hour and to stay abreast with the latest we have in school four well equipped computer labs. It is with pride that I say we have over 100 latest Pentium 4 based computers  in school along with the latest software.

The school has engaged the services of professionals in Maths, Physics and Chemistry who comes to teach students of classes twelve and eleven and prepare them for AIEEE. The school has also engaged the services of a professor of a university to teach students of class twelve Computers.

I on behalf of the students take this opportunity to thank the management and especially the Education Advisor Mr. K Juneja who has been instrumental in getting these professionals for the benefit of the students ( unfortunately the students are not availing the maximum benefit by abstaining from classes)  at no cost to the students as the school is footing the payment.  The school is leaving no stone unturned to help the students in every way possible. Now it’s up to the students and parents to take maximum advantage.

The library, the heart of a school is being utilized well by students of every class. With every year close to a thousand books being added it is a place where students could find anything they want. It is here that I want to highlight to parents to encourage your child to read, instead of having a lavish birthday party buy them books and encourage them to read instead of spending too much time in front of the TV and computer.

As the saying goes, ‘there are two sides to every coin’ all of you have just heard me read my report pertaining to academics. Well, now the other side, games and co- curricular activities which are an integral part of the curriculum and which leads to the all round development of a child.

140 students took part in the ‘Bhartiya Sanskriti Gyan Pariksha’ introduced by ‘Akhil Vishva Gayatri Parivar’ Shantikunj Haridvar where the first, second and third positions were won by our students.

In this fast changing result oriented world where less importance is being paid to values, the rich tradition of our motherland, we at S D Jain Modern School provide an ethos that has evolved combining in itself a happy blend of tradition, cherished values and importantly the needs of the present times, bringing into focus the emergence of a confident SD Jain school product ready to take his/her place in the sun.

The great heights that the school has scaled in such a short span of its existence would not have been possible without the support and unstinted cooperation given by the chairman, the members of the board, Mr. K Juneja, Director cum Education Advisor, the backbone of the school since its inception for his constant and untiring support, guidance and cooperation. The staff, the hidden cogs in the wheel without whose support the school would not have achieved what it has.

At the end we seek God’s blessings and ask for courage and strength so that we as a team may lead the school to dazzling heights with every passing year and try to fulfill the dreams of our founders.

On behalf of the S D Jain Modern School fraternity I take this opportunity to wish one and all ‘A Very Happy Diwali and a Prosperous New Year’. May the festival of lights spread light in your lives with peace, joy and happiness.

Thank You
