Learning Beyond Classrooms: Jodhpur - Jaisalmer Expedition 2026
CLASS - VII & VIII
(27th Sept 2026 - 2nd Oct 2026)
At S D Jain Modern School, we believe education goes beyond textbooks. Our recent Educational Trip to Jodhpur & Jaisalmer for 110 students of Classes VII & VIII, accompanied by 9 teachers, was a perfect example of experiential learning in action.
From Royal Forts to the Golden Desert
Students walked through history at the majestic Mehrangarh Fort and Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur. In Jaisalmer, they discovered the living heritage of the Golden Fort, the mystery of Kuldhara Village, the serenity of Gadisar Lake and the pride of India at the Jaisalmer War Museum.
The most cherished moment was the night at the Thar Desert Camp, Sam Sand Dunes – a thrilling camel and jeep safari across golden dunes, a magical sunset, and an enchanting Rajasthani folk music and dance evening under the stars.
Safety, Comfort & Learning – Our Priority
The trip was executed with utmost care – safe AC travel, clean and secure hotels (1N Jodhpur + 2N Jaisalmer), hygienic vegetarian meals, guides, first-aid, and 24×7 supervision by our teachers and tour coordinator.
More than a trip, it was a journey that instilled patriotism, teamwork, cultural appreciation and curiosity. Our students returned not just with photos, but with memories, knowledge and life skills for a lifetime.
At S D Jain Modern School, Surat, we don’t just teach – we create experiences that shape future-ready global citizens.
