Building a Better Tomorrow: S.D. Jain Celebrates Innovation, Creativity and Excellence

Annual Science & Art Exhibition 2026 at S. D. Jain Modern School was successfully organised on 30th June and 1st July 2026 as a part of the Founder’s Day Celebrations, commemorating the cherished memory of the revered Founder Chairman, Late Shri Devraj Ji Jain. The exhibition paid tribute to his inspiring vision of holistic education, innovation, and nation-building by providing students with a platform to showcase their scientific temperament, creativity, and artistic excellence.

The exhibition was inaugurated with great enthusiasm in the gracious presence of Mr. Anurag Dubey, IRS, Additional Commissioner of Income Tax, Surat, who attended as the Chief Guest. The event was also honoured by the presence of Shri Kailash Ji Jain, Chairman of Paras Education Trust, members of the management, trustees, Principal Mr. Chetan Dalwala, Heads of all the wings, teachers, parents, and students. The programme commenced with the traditional lighting of the ceremonial lamp, followed by the felicitation of the Chief Guest.

Centred around the inspiring theme “Building a Better Tomorrow”, the exhibition featured an impressive collection of innovative science models, artistic creations, interactive projects, and sustainable solutions prepared by students from Grades I to XII. The exhibits highlighted contemporary global concerns such as Sustainability, Food Security, Gender Equality, Environmental Conservation, Cyber Safety, Smart Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Agriculture, Water Conservation, and Scientific Innovation. Students confidently demonstrated their projects, reflecting critical thinking, creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities while proposing practical solutions to real-world challenges.

The Primary Section impressed visitors with colourful and informative displays that combined scientific concepts with artistic expression. Young learners enthusiastically presented working models and creative exhibits on sustainability, environmental awareness, food security, cybercrime awareness, rainwater harvesting, human anatomy, social sciences, languages, and cultural heritage, demonstrating curiosity, confidence, and excellent communication skills.

Students from the Secondary and Senior Secondary Sections presented highly advanced and research-oriented projects including Face Recognition Attendance System, Solar Agribot, AQI Monitoring System, Laser Security System, Hydroponics & Vertical Farming, Community Resilience, Transmission Line Fault Detection, Food Security, Microgreens, Rashi AI, and Varanium Cloud Scam – When Numbers Lie. Their innovative ideas reflected scientific inquiry, technological advancement, and responsible innovation for building a sustainable future.

A special Prize Distribution Ceremony was organised to recognise outstanding achievements in academics, arts, sports, international competitions, and the exhibition itself. Winners across various categories were felicitated for their exceptional creativity, originality, presentation skills, and practical application of knowledge. The dignitaries appreciated the students’ dedication, innovative thinking, and collaborative spirit, encouraging them to continue exploring science and creativity for the betterment of society.

The event witnessed overwhelming participation from students, teachers, parents, alumni, and distinguished guests, transforming the school campus into a vibrant hub of innovation and experiential learning. Every exhibit reflected the school’s unwavering commitment to nurturing future-ready learners through activity-based education, research, creativity, and values-based learning.

The School Management, Principal Mr. Chetan Dalwala, Heads of all the wings, and the organising committee expressed their heartfelt appreciation to the dedicated teachers, enthusiastic students, supportive parents, and volunteers whose collective efforts made the Annual Science & Art Exhibition 2026 a grand success. The exhibition concluded on a high note, leaving visitors inspired by the remarkable talent, innovation, and imagination displayed by the young innovators of S. D. Jain Modern School, truly living up to the theme “Building a Better Tomorrow.”
