S.D. Jain Modern School proudly celebrates the remarkable achievements of its young chess prodigy, Vaka Lakshmi Pragnika of Class II-A, whose consistent excellence at State, All India, National and International levels reflects extraordinary talent, discipline and determination.
Pragnika delivered an exceptional series of performances by securing first and second positions at All India–level chess tournaments in Mumbai and achieving a state-level victory in Surat. She also represented Gujarat in the State U-11 Inter-School Chess Selection and International World Champion (FIDE) held in Serbia showcasing her strategic brilliance on a highly competitive platform.
In recognition of her outstanding achievements, Pragnika was honoured with the prestigious “Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar 2025” by the honourable President & Prime Minister of India on the occasion of “Veer Baal Diwas”, a rare national honour bestowed upon young achievers across the country.
