A workshop titled “Let’s Leap Beyond Books” was conducted for teachers of Grade 1 to 4 at S.D.Jain Modern School Wing-2 in the AC hall on Thursday September 14, 2023, by TROT (The Room of Talent). The event adhered to TROT’s motto: Explore, Experiment, and Execute.
The workshop primarily focused on Hands-on Science and Climate Creativity, encompassing various intelligences – visual, spatial, linguistic, logical, kinesthetic, naturalistic, interpersonal, verbal, physical, and problem-solving tasks that were performed with the help of games and kits provided by the team. Commencing promptly at 9:00 a.m. in the activity hall, the workshop spanned until 11:45 a.m., concluding with a heartfelt vote of thanks.
This invigorating workshop offered a welcome break from the routine for teachers engrossed in the arduous task of examining papers. It was well-received and enjoyed by all participants.
The commendable efforts of the TROT team did not go unnoticed. Chairman Kailash Ji Jain, Principal Chetan Dalwala, Headmistresses Dr. Reshma Julka, and Mona Mehta expressed their appreciation for the workshop’s entertainment and educational value.
The “Let’s Leap Beyond Books” workshop by TROT was a resounding success, fostering a spirit of exploration among teachers, leaving a positive and lasting impact. It also empowered the teachers to apply their learning in innovative ways.
