Traditional Solo Dance Competition 2022-23

"Dance is the joy of movement and the heart of life" Since ages we are carrying this cultural heritage and traditions.

Acknowledging this fact, S.D.Jain Wing-2 organized an Indian Traditional Solo Dance Competition for the kids of 3rd to 5th std on the 22nd and 23rd July 2022. Competition was conducted in 2 rounds. Students were given the option of performing either Folk dance or an Indian classical form of dance.

Prior to the final round, auditions were taken on the following dates.
Std 3 & 4 ➡15th July
Std 5 ➡16th

    The judges of 3rd, 4th and 5th std for the final rounds were Om Patel (Urbanation Dance & Fitness studio), Bishvajit Polai (Finalist from India’s got Talent season 7), Supanthi Shah (Visharad in Bharatnatyam) and Prachi Bhatt (M.A in Bharatnatyam).

Judgment was done on the basis of
1. Choreography
2. Expression
3. Rhythm & Confidence
4. Suitability and appeal of the costume.
Children enthralled the audience with their breath taking performance.
