Teacher’s Day Celebration

In commemoration of the 135^th birth anniversary of the esteemed educator, Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan, S.D. Jain School held a grand Teacher’s Day Celebration on September 5^th 2023. This event was a heartfelt tribute to the guiding lights in the lives of students and our dedicated teachers.

The students of all three wings expressed their deep appreciation for their teachers’ unwavering support and selfless service by crafting beautiful creative cards adorned with loving messages and presenting fragrant flowers. Additionally, the secondary students assumed the role of pseudo-teachers, imparting knowledge and guidance to their younger peers in the primary section.

The official teacher’s program commenced at 10:30 a.m., following the students’ departure. The event began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, a symbolic gesture paying homage to Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan, a great leader, scholar, and teacher. Principal Sir presided over this solemn moment in the Activity Hall, underscoring the significance of teachers in shaping young minds.

Throughout the day, teachers from the entire S.D. Jain family actively participated in various engaging activities, fostering a sense of camaraderie and appreciation among the staff.

The festivities came to a delightful close at 2:00 p.m. with a sumptuous treat provided to the dedicated staff, celebrating their pivotal role in nurturing future generations. The Teacher’s Day Celebration was a resounding success, enjoyed by all who attended.
