The National Students Paryavaran Competition, organized by S.D.Jain Modern School, centered around the theme “EK PED DESH KE NAAM,” promoting the ideas of reusing, recycling, and saving the environment to foster a greener Earth. This initiative was taken as suggested by the Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change, as well as the Ministry of Education, Govt. of India.
Students across all age groups came together to participate in this competition, reflecting their dedication to the protection of our planet. As part of their involvement, each student planted 10 seeds of any plant at their respective homes, a symbolic gesture of nurturing nature. Collaborating with their elders, participants captured the process through photos and videos, showcasing their commitment to the cause. These visuals were then shared by uploading them to the designated link.
The competition spanned from July 1st to August 21st 2023, providing a window for participants to document their efforts and contribute to the initiative. By emphasizing the importance of responsible consumption, recycling, and sustainable living, this event aimed to instill a sense of environmental consciousness in the younger generation. Not only did it foster a connection between students and the environment, but it also encouraged them to take active steps towards a greener future
