On August 6, 2023, S.D.Jain Modern School Wing-2 celebrated Krishna Janmashtami with immense joy and enthusiasm. The children, dressed as Radha and Krishna, added a traditional touch to the festivities. They actively engaged in various activities, including delivering speeches about Janmashtami, narrating stories of the mischievous Krishna and his friends, singing bhajans in honor of Lord Krishna, decorating flutes and pots, and energetically participating in Garba dance.
One of the highlights of the event was the Dahi Handi celebration, where the children gathered in the skating rink. Here, a playful Krishna successfully broke the matki, bringing smiles to the faces of many Kanhas and Gopiyas. The air resonated with bhajans, filling everyone with festive spirit and joy in the school’s large and close-knit family.
Chairman Kailash Ji Jain, Principal Chetan Dalwala, Headmistresses Dr.Reshma Julka and Mona Mehta showered their blessings.
