S. D. Jain Modern School celebrated Krishna Janmashtami on 23rd August 2024 with great enthusiasm among students from Grades 1 to 4. The school premises was decorated with vibrant flowers and buzzed with joy as students dressed as Radha and Krishna, participated in various activities. They sang devotional songs and performed the dances. The highlight of the event was the Dahi Handi ceremony, where the "natkhat" Krishna broke the matki surrounded by little Kanhas and Gopiyas. The event was filled with festive spirit, echoing joy and tradition fostering the sense of cultural and religious significance.
The School Management, Principal and Headmistress extended their warm wishes to the students for their enthusiasm and devotion. May the birth of Lord Krishna bring joy, love and prosperity in the life of all.
