On September 30th, 2023, the students of S.D. Jain Modern School Wing-2, ranging from Grade 1 to 4, came together to commemorate the 154th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi in a special assembly. The event was marked by enthusiastic participation and impactful performances.
During the assembly, students delivered speeches and showcased skits that not only paid homage to Gandhiji but also emphasized the significance of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, a cleanliness campaign. Their performances resonated with the values of cleanliness and hygiene that Gandhiji was fond of.
The event received recognition and appreciation from the Chairman Sir Kailash Ji Jain, Principal Chetan Dalwala, and Headmistresses Dr. Reshma Julka and Mona Mehta. They commended both the teachers and students for effectively conveying the message of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and encouraged the students to take responsibility for maintaining cleanliness in their surroundings.
This special assembly not only celebrated the legacy of Gandhiji but also instilled in the students a sense of responsibility towards a cleaner and healthier India.
