Vaka Lakshmi Varenya of S.D.Jain Modern School, Wing-2 participated in Surat District State Selection Championship, 2023 chess tournament held at Surat on 15.04.2023. She scored 415 points and has bagged 2nd position.
Her remarkable skills, dedication, and strategic thinking helped her to secure this position.The competition was organized at Surat and it witnessed enthusiastic participation from young chess players across the city. The participants played multiple rounds of the game, and their performance was judged based on their moves, time taken, and accuracy. Vaka Varenya showed tremendous focus and determination throughout the competition. She played the game with utmost concentration, made smart moves, and never lost sight of the ultimate goal - winning. Her performance was consistently impressive, and she managed to beat several opponents, earning her spot among the top players. We commend for her achievement and are proud of her. We believe that her love for chess will continue to grow, and she will achieve many more victories in the future. We would like to extend our gratitude to the organizers of the competition for providing a platform for young chess players to showcase their skills. We hope that such events will continue to inspire and encourage young minds to pursue their passion for the game.
