The Rotary and Rotaract Indoor Sports Club Ajinkya in Vapi hosted a chess tournament on August 13, 2023. Amidst intense battles of strategy and intellect, S.D. Jain Modern School showcased its prowess. The young prodigies, Varenya Laxmi Vaka and Pragnika Laxmi Vaka, took center stage in the U-12 age group category. In a display of exceptional skill, Varenya Laxmi emerged victorious, clinching the coveted 1st position, while her talented sister, Pragnika, secured a commendable 4th place. Their remarkable achievements added an aura of excellence to the tournament, leaving an indelible mark on the chessboard of memories.
