Abacus Demo

S.D. Jain Wing - 2 organised a special assembly for the kids of Std 1 to 3rd in the activity hall on 12th June 2023 at 8.30 a.m to 9.00 a.m to demonstrate Abacus. The primary objective of the demonstration was to familiarize students with the Abacus a traditional counting tool. The demonstration began with a brief introduction about abacus by the resource person Mrs Kittu Rawal. The students were shown basic mathematical operations, such as addition, subtraction and multiplication using the abacus. The instructor explained the step-by-step process and encouraged the students to participate activity. The demonstration helped in Visualization and Conceptual Understanding of Mental Math Skills. Students enjoyed the session which served as a valuable tool to enhance their mathematical abilities. Below are the captured pictures of the workshop.
