It is the moment of pride to share with you that Varenya Vaka Lakshmi of class V โ B, stood as Overall Champion in Thakur College Open Category Chess Tournament in U-10 Age Group in Morning session for which she won Cash prize of 4000/- and a trophy.
In the afternoon session , she was declared 2nd runner up in Girls in U-11 Age Group and won a trophy for herself. The tournament was held at Mumbai on 21.04.24. She played 12 rounds non stop during the day and won 10 rounds.
Chairman Mr. Kailash Jain, Principal Mr. Chetan Dalwala and Headmistress Mrs. Amita Singh showered their blessings on Varenya and also wished her all the best for their future endeavours.
