Workshop on "My Happiness and Me" by Oxford

A workshop titled "The power of teachers – agents of better well-being and communication" was organized by Oxford University Press on 19th September 2024. The event took place in the school premises of S. D. Jain Modern School from 8:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Teachers from various schools, including S. D. Jain Modern School also, participated in the workshop.
The session was led by Mr. Heemanshu Patel, an acclaimed educational consultant, author, and motivational speaker. His engaging and interactive style made the seminar both enjoyable and informative for all attendees.
Various activities were conducted during the session, which the participants actively enjoyed. Mr. Patel emphasized the importance of using auditory, visual, and content-based strategies to enhance engagement in the classroom. He also promoted a series of eight activity books titled "My Happiness and Me," based on the guidelines of the National Curriculum Framework (NCF). These books focus on student wellness and communication skills, making them valuable resources for modern educators.
The workshop proved to be highly beneficial for all attendees, equipping them with practical tools and strategies to foster happiness and effective communication in their classrooms.
The School Management, Principal, and Heads of all the wings commended the resource person, expressing their admiration for their passionate efforts and unwavering dedication.
