Swachhata Hi Sewa Campaign

S. D. Jain Modern School actively participated in the Swachhata Hi Sewa (SHS) Campaign 2024, paying tribute to Mahatma Gandhi on his Jayanti, celebrated as Swachh Bharat Diwas on 2nd October 2024. The campaign, themed "Swabhav Swachhata - Sanskaar Swachhata," aimed at raising awareness about cleanliness and recognizing the contributions of sanitation workers.
The campaign commenced on 17th September and concluded on 2nd October 2024, under the guidance of the School Management Committee and SMC. Various activities were conducted in alignment with CBSE’s recommendations. Students participated enthusiastically in a cleanliness rally on 25th September, carrying banners promoting cleanliness. They were shown inspirational videos about Gandhiji's life and values.
Teachers organized an educational workshop emphasizing the "Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle" principles, while students planted saplings as a part of the Ek-Ped-Maa-Ke-Naam initiative. On 1st October, a Swachhata Shapath (cleanliness pledge) was taken by the students and staff, reinforcing their commitment to have a clean environment.
Competitions like essay writing, poem recitation, slogan creation, and poster making showcased students' creativity, highlighting the importance of waste management.
The School Management, Principal, and Headmistress commended the students’ efforts, making the event a grand success.
