Six years child student to represent for Gujarat in the Chess tournament
Pragnika Vaka Lakshmi of S. D. Jain Modern School, Primary Section, displayed exceptional prowess in chess tournaments in June and July 2024. Competing in Surat and Ahmedabad, she secured 1st place in U-7 Girls at the Surat District Selection for State 2024, 2nd in U-15 Girls at the Inter School Team Chess Tournament, and 1st in U-7 and 2nd in U-8 Open at the Ashtavinayak Group One Day Age Category Chess Tournament. Her achievements include winning the Gujarat State Selection U-7 Chess Tournament and qualifying for nationals.The school management, Principal and Headmistress applauded her dedication and success. She was even felicitated with cash prizes in several competitions for her outstanding performance.
