Jain Modern School takes immense pride in celebrating the phenomenal achievement of Pragnika Vaka, who was crowned the U-7 Girls' World Champion at the 2025 FIDE World School Chess Championship, held in Vranjca, Banja, Serbia from March 19 to March 29, 2025. Competing against top young talents from across the globe, Pragnika delivered a flawless performance, securing a perfect 9/9 score—an extraordinary feat that made her the only Indian player across all age categories to win a gold medal.
Her journey from learning chess in August 2023 to dominating an international arena in just over a year is a testament to her dedication, skill, and fearless approach. She remained undefeated throughout the tournament, outshining even the U-7 national champion with her strategic brilliance and unwavering focus.
