Pragnika Vaka Lakshmi’s Remarkable Triumphs in Chess Tournaments
Pragnika Vaka Lakshmi of S.D. Jain Modern School, Wing-2, showcased exceptional skills in various chess tournaments played in the month of April and May 2024. Competing in prestigious events across Navsari, Surat, Pune, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Karnataka, and Udaipur, she left a remarkable impression with her strategic gameplay. Her notable achievements include 1st place in U-7 Girls at LBHM Chess Festival, 1st in U-8 Girls at Chess Era’s 4th Beginner’s Cup, and 4th in U-7 Girls at the Summer Cup Lakecity Classical below 1800 Fide Rating Chess Tournament. She secured 5th in U-7 Girls by The Surat District Chess Association and was the youngest player at Ramankaka Memorial Summer Cup Chess Tournament. She was even felicitated with cash prizes in several competitions for her outstanding performance.
