Folk dance competition was conducted on 11/8/23 during the CCA period for classes IX and X. The participants presented a rainbow of beautiful performances with spectacular costumes, choreography, make up and breath taking grooves. The participants were judged on the basis of choreography, costume, make up and expression. Judges Mr. Nimesh Sakariya, Mr. Hemant More and Mr. Jayesh Patil had a tough time choosing the winners. There was a variety of folk dances from different parts of India like Lavni, Bihu, Bhangra, Rajasthani ghoomars etc. Netra Patel of class X B of Shivaji house grabbed the first position by performing Marathi folk dance Gondhal. Vidhi Chaudhary of XA from Shivaji house got second rank. She performed ghoomar dance Third rank was shared between Diya Bhasin of IX A from Subhash house and Dhwani Modi of X B from Shivaji house. Diya performed Bihu dance and Dhwani presented Lavni dance form. Chairman Sri Kailash Ji Jain, Principal Chetan Dalwala and Head Master Mr. Kiran Kataria conveyed their best wishes to all the winners and house in charges.
