S. D. Jain Modern School Primary Wing celebrated Gujarat Day with great enthusiasm on Thursday, 1st May, 2025 to mark the state's formation in 1960. The campus echoed with the spirit of “જય જય ગરવી ગુજરાત” as students participated in various cultural activities.

Children recited Gujarati rhymes and poems and proudly dressed in traditional Gujarati attire. Speeches were delivered by the students on iconic personalities like Mahatma Gandhi, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Kasturba Gandhi, Narendra Modi, Dhirubhai Ambani, Mallika Sarabhai, and Hardik Pandya belonging to Gujarat. The highlight was the vibrant Garba performance on Gujarati folk beats.

Students brought traditional Gujarati dishes for lunch and showcased their creativity through drawings and paintings depicting Gujarat's rich heritage.

The celebration reflected the deep cultural pride and unity among the students. The School Management, Principal and Headmistress appreciated the efforts and encouraged the children to stay rooted in their culture.
