Baalpan ki Kavita: Celebrating Cultural Roots through Rhymes
Primary Wing
In alignment with NEP Para 4.11, students of S.D. Jain Modern School Primary Wing actively participated in the “Baalpan ki Kavita” initiative launched by the Ministry of Education on MyGov portal in the month of April 2025. The students enthusiastically uploaded their self-composed poems and rhymes as part of this meaningful initiative.
Students from Grade 1 to 4 showcased their creativity and linguistic skills by composing poems and rhymes in their mother tongue—Gujarati—as well as in Hindi and English.
The young participants beautifully captured traditional themes such as folk tales, festivals, nature, and everyday life, contributing to the vision of enriching early education with Bharatiya cultural values. Their performances reflected the innocence, spontaneity, and imaginative power of childhood.
The School Management, Principal, and Headmistress appreciated the sincere efforts, creativity, and cultural expressions of the children. They applauded the dedication shown by the students and teachers alike in restoring the charm and significance of Indian rhymes and folk poetry.
Such initiatives not only build language proficiency and confidence among young learners but also instill a deep sense of pride in their linguistic and cultural heritage.
