A seminar on NEP 2020 and NCF on foundational stage was conducted for Pre-primary, Grade 1 & 2 teachers of S.D. Jain Modern School Primary Wing on 28th September 2024 from 8:00 am to 11:00 am in the school premises. The session was organized by Oxford University Press and the session was led by Mr. Ankit Parmar, a CENTA Teaching Quotient badge holder. His enthusiasm and deep knowledge captivated the participants.
Mr. Parmar discussed key aspects of NEP 2020, focusing on foundational literacy and numeracy (FLN), skill-based learning, and activity-based education through storytelling and playway methods. He highlighted how Oxford books meet NEP 2020 requirements, incorporating cutouts, activity-based learning, and resources such as teacher manuals and digital tools.
Teachers gained valuable insights into innovative teaching resources for effective foundational education. The seminar received high praise from the school management, principal, and headmistress for its informative nature.
