Sanskrit Diwas Celebration

Sanskrit Diwas was celebrated with great enthusiasm and reverence at our school on 31st August 2024 to honour the ancient language of Sanskrit, which is considered the mother of many Indian languages. The celebration aimed to promote the rich heritage and cultural significance of Sanskrit among students and staff.
The event commenced with a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony by our Principal sir, Mr. Chetan Dalwala, followed by a prayer that set a spiritual tone for the day. The Head of Sanskrit department , Mr. Saroj Ojha addressed the gathering, highlighting the importance of Sanskrit in preserving India's cultural legacy and encouraging students to embrace the language.
Various programs were organized, including a recitation of Geeta Shlokas, a speech on the relevance of Sanskrit in modern times, a special skit performance, depicting scenes from the life of Kalidas captivated the audience and showcased the beauty of Sanskrit literature and a dance performance on an instance of Mahabharata.
The event concluded with the pledge in Sanskrit, followed by the National Anthem. The celebration not only fostered a love for Sanskrit but also strengthened students’ connection to their cultural roots.
Overall, the Sanskrit Diwas celebration was a meaningful and educational experience that left a lasting impression on everyone present.
